Ginny and all, I liked the line on the Pettits. I have a couple lines on the Wolverton women to share. One is Osila or Oscela b.1779 Hunterdon Co. NJ m. Samiel Foy, d. Northumberland Co.Pa 5 Jul.1851, b. at Stone cem. Agustaville, Northumberland Co PA. She was the daughter of Charles and Mary Drake. I have all her children also if anyone is interested. Also I have Rachel Wolverton dau. of Steven and Mersey Cox. I will send it later if any one wants it. Here is Thomas's line that I got from Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages of America, at the State Hist. Soc. of Wisconsin. 1 Charles Wolverton and Mary Chadwick 2 Thomas Wolverton b. Hunterdon Co NJ May 17,1717 was deceased by 1759 left minor children, who migrated westward with their mother or after reaching maturity. In 1790 cen. listed as heads of households in Washington Co. PA Thomas and two Johns, in same locality, one may have been a son of either Thomas of John. Col. Thomas Wolverton was probably the son of Thomas 1 and Mary Pettit.Thomas served in the American Revolution. About 1804, with his family migrated further west and settled in Butler Co., OH. He was a noted character in his neighborhood. He was said to have been a large blond man, whose weight was close to four hundred lbs. He died in in Washington twp., Preble Co. OH. Col.Thomas Wolverton married, but the name of his wife is not known. Children- 1.Isaac, born in Wash. Co.PA year 17? Isaac had a son William b. in Hamilton Co. 1820. Isaac married Catherine Frazee by whom he had 9 children. 2.William b. in Greene Co.PA 1800, married in 1828, a dau. of Silas Dooley. 3. Susannah, of whom further, mar. William McCormic 4. Jonathan, was listed as head of a family, "aged between 26 and 45" in WAsh Twp. in Preble Co. OH. in 1820. ("United States Census Records, Wash. Co PA, 1790,"pp.250, 255.
