    3. Diane, Glad to hear from you. Yes, the Wolverton Discussion list is still operating. It is run by ROOTSWEB now, since MAISER was no longer able to carry on all the family surname lists. Since the change over to the Rootsweb system, however, there has been very little traffic on the list. I am sending this same message to everyone on the list so that hopefully someone will send in a query or say something. I have been checking the list of subscribers periodically. The last time I checked was on July 4th. Rootsweb had you (Snowman6@aol.com) listed as one of the subscribers at that time. As of July 4, 1997, there were 35 people signed on to the Wolverton e-mail discussion list. Everyone who was signed on to the MAISER list was automatically transferred over to the Rootsweb discussion list. (MAISER and ROOTSWEB did all the legwork on that.) The proper address to send a message to the list is: WOLVERTON-L@rootsweb.com Earlier I sent a message to the list and assumed that everyone received it. It was a welcome message with all the rules for using the list--how to subscribe and unsubscribe, how to post queries, etc. If anyone needs me to send them another copy of the welcome message, I'd be glad to do it. I hope someone will post to the list soon. Sincerely, Glenn Gohr (Wolverton List Manager) ggohr01@mail.orion.org ggohr@juno.com On Fri, 11 Jul 1997 Snowman6@aol.com wrote: > Glenn > I'm hoping this letter gets to you.
