To answer Diane Jacob's question about accessing the records of the list. All prior messages on Rootsweb (from the last week of May until now) should be available through the Rootsweb Archives. I haven't tried this, but here is what I know: If interested in a certain word (Charles, Wolverton, Woolverton, Chadwick, etc.), then request any messages using that particular word, like this: Send a message to: WOLVERTON-L-request@rootsweb.com For the subject line, put: archive In the body of the message, type: search Charles latest/* This would send you all postings using the word "Charles" that appeared on the Wolverton list. You might also try these: search Wolverton latest/* search Woolverton latest/* This will only give you the exact lines where the words appear. To order a complete message, there is a further procedure which I'm not clear on. For more information, look up this URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/members/archives.html Maybe this will help.
