I just found this in Family Tree Maker, don't know the originator of the info, but thought it was interesting. "Charles Wolverton was the first Wolverton in America. He sailed from Dorsetshire, England in 1660 as a gentleman aboard the flagship "William Penn'. Charles married Thomas Drake's daughter in 1697. Thomas was a direct descendant of Sir Francis Drake. Charles had 7 sons and 2 daughters and finally settled in Rosemont NJ. Died in 1746, buried in Rosemont church cemetary." Has anyone else had this information? Does it ring true?
