Hello! I have had no luck in furthering my Wolfe research over the last two years. I know someone out there has to have a connection somewhere. Here's where I reach my dead end... My great-great grandfather, George Washington Wolfe was born in 1795. I have no idea where. His wife was Sophia Stover. I can get no farther back. I was told that Wolf Rd. in Colonie, NY was named after our family. My grandfather used to go to family reunions down there when he was a boy. The Colonie town historian believes there used to be a Wolfe farm down there, but she has no record of any names. Also, one of my great uncles was told by a priest or something, that he had done extensive research on the Wolfe family and had tied our family into a General Wolfe. Families were rather large back then, someone, somewhere has to have a connection. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
