They and their children came to US in 1830 and then later moved to Wilmot Twp., Waterloo Co. Ontario, Canada. I am researching the following Wolfs/Wolfe. Mary Wolf, born around 1777 in VA, married in Fayette co KY 1795 to John Fitzer, died in Lawrence co IN 1855-1860. She had brothers Jacob and Andrew (and probably others) Her father was Joseph Wolf/Wolfe born around 1740. Wife's name unknown (she had died by 1788). Greetings I'm researching a Wolf/Wolff family that has roots in Bohemia and an original surname of Voulf. The original immigrant was Vaclaf Voulf and I think he may have lived in Omaha Nebraska for a while before moving to St. Louis, Mo. He changed his name to William Wolf once he moved to St. Louis. I'm looking for information on a Nathan Wolfe. I know that he was born ca. 1812 in Kentucky and married Agnes Womack. They moved to Wayne County, Illinois. I also know he had at least one son, (my g-grandfather) George Washington Wolfe. Mike, I find WOLFTREE.ZIP on my hard drive, but it is useless to me as I cannot open it. I have lost track of previous messaging because of a huge backlog of e-mail while I was only semi-active with a back injury. I am interested in whatever this tree contains only if it contains a family line that found its way into Buncombe County, N.C., in the early 1800s. Incidentally, I have never posted this next bit as I need no further information, but my father-in-law (a WESTALL) was a second cousin to THOMAS WOLFE the author.
