I thought I sent this when there was a roll call in Oct. but here I just found it in my "to be sent box". And I thought I only couldn't keep track of the papers in my house.... My oldest known ancestors are George Washington Wolf March 27, 1850 - Aug 5, 1935 and his wife Martha Ellen (Tillman) Aug 12, 1848 - Apr 22, 1910 both are buried in Pine Ridge cemetery in Newton county Mississippi not far from Lake, MS. the 1880 census for Scott county has both of them born in MS but both of their fathers as born in North Carolina and mothers birthplace unknown. The 1900 census has both born in MS and George's father born in NC and mother in MS. with Martha's father born in Georgia and mother born in Tennessee their children include William Gideon "Willie" Wolf (my gr-grandfather) Apr 5, 1873 - Dec 26, 1960 wife: Virginia Leona "Jenny" Lang Aug 22, 1882- Dec 14, 1969 both buried Ephesus church cemetery in Scott county MS Mary E Wolf 1875- 1891 buried Pine ridge cemetery, newton county, MS Ella Wolf b. about 1879, married a Harrell. Possibly buried somewhere in Texas as William Wolfe went to Texas and returned with two Harrell nephews to raise. Jennie Wolf b. Jan 1881 Erline Wolf b. Oct 1882 Jessie Boyd Wolf Feb 16, 1887 - June 13, 1951 wife: Mary Annie Stroud Apr. 29, 1885 - May 29, 1946 both are buried Salem church cemetery in Scott county MS Dora Wolf b. Dec 1890 possibly Wallace Wolf is also a son of George and Martha Wolf. children of William Wolf and Jennie Lang are Effie, Jewel, Florence, Lester, Ruby, Opal, Mildred Wolfe (married Mark Simmons Rape [my grandparents] and are buried in Bossier City, Louisiana), Williemae (female), Odel (female) Curtis Wylie (buried at Ephesus church cemetery), Parkes, Maggie Aline (unmarried and buried at Ephesus church cemetery), Duvall (died as an infant and is buried at Pine Ridge cemetery), then there is another son and another daughter both still living so I won't list them here. Above is the order in which I have the 15 kids written down and definitely not the order in which they were born. some of the generations and in the same generations too (even among siblings) for that matter used the spelling Wolfe and others Wolf.
