The Nova Scotia Public Archives has placed on online version of Place-Names and Places of Nova Scotia (C. Bruce Fergusson - 1967) on their website. This publication has over 2400 communities included and has details (settlement, first churches, schools, etc.) on each Nova Scotia community listed. The online version is searchable by community or county.
