Surnames: Wolf Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4JXBAIB/1370 Message Board Post: I am looking for the parents of John Wolf whom I have traced back to the 1870 census in Huntingham Township, Adams County, PA where it states he married Barbara ? in March, 1870. It lists his age as 23 (b. cir. 1846/47) and hers as 22 - he is a laborer on a farm. The best I can make out, the owner of the farm is Peter (age 65) and Elizabeth Reijgle/Rujgle? On the same census page, four families away is Frederick Wolf, age 92. I next pick him up in the 1880 census in Reading Twp, Adams Co., PA with children Mary, age 9, Alverta, age 7, James, age 5, and Agnes, age 3. They had another son, John Henry "Harry" Wolf, b. 1883 who married Annie Adelia Eberly (my husband's g-grandparents). Thanks.
