FRESNO [Coshocton, OH] -- Rudolph "Rudy" Paul Wolf, 91, of Fresno, died at 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Wolf was born Feb. 28, 1913, in Philadelphia, Pa. He was the son of the late Rudolph and Barbara (Deeg) Wolf. In Rudolph's earlier years, he was involved in Boy Scouts. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. For 16 years he was a receiving clerk in the food department of Girard College in Philadelphia, Pa. He retired from Montgomery Ward Co. in Coshocton in 1977. He married Alma Edith Arney on Dec. 28, 1968. He was very active in the Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 35 years; a sister-in-law, Shirley Arney; and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, two sisters, Marie Wolf Boileau and Helen Wolf Quinn; and three brothers, Frank, Philip and Adolph Wolf, preceded him in death. Services will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Given-Dawson Funeral Home in West Lafayette, with Pastor David Krankovich officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fresno.
