There are 3 children in question and no marriage but family folklore has a clue that this was the man who possibly was the father of at least one of these 3 children. It was told to me that he wanted to marry my gg grandmother but her parents would not allow it. She lived in Hawkins Co or possibly Greene County Tennesse and her surname was Gardner. Any clues would be appreciated. She was born in 1889 @ Hawkins co Tennesse. The first child was born 21 April 1905 @ Hawkins Co. TN.
