Hi all A sad day for Perry county genealogists. I was related to Evelyn's husband. I was lucky to run into Evelyn early on in my beginning Perry Co research. She provided my first info on the Wolfes of Perry and the Emericks and other related families. My first foray into Junction City was when the genealogy materials were stored in their nice little library when the New Lexington library was under construction. I pulled up to the library and parked out front where it said something to the effect 1 hour parking or similar. We went in and met Evelyn and found we were researching the same folk. But I said something about the parking and she said "that's OK, I'm the mayor" Hope some of you in the area can go to the funeral on Saturday. Barbara NEW LEXINGTON -- Evelyn D.
