I may have encountered some new information that may benifit you. Some of the sons of John Wolf the son of Absalom and Charlotte Lakey were married in Custer county, Nebraska. This is according to a family that I found listed on World connect. John did have a James H. Wolf listed as a son. He was born about 1870 as he was 10 on the 1880 census in Aspinwall Nemaha Nebraska. That would make him 19 in 1889. Since his brothers and a sister are listed as being married in Custer county. I'd say this is probably your James Harvey. Let me know what you think by posting again. Go to www.rootsweb.com. Look under search Engine. Click on world connect. Type in John Wolf. There will be to many so go down and type in Absalom as the father. That will thin it out a bit. If you need to thin it more type in Charlotte as the Mother.
