ROLL CALL: Johann Adam Wolf was born in Ersrode, Hesse, Germany, in 1878 and moved to Niederaula, Hesse, where he was a smith. His wife was Katharina Elisabeth Schäfer of Niederaula. They came to the US via New Orleans in 1845 &1846 with sons Jacob, Barnhart, Johann Jacob, Johannes, and Georg Heinrich, and daughters Barbara Christine and Magdalena. The settled at Washington, Tazewell county, Illinois. I have records of descendants of Jacob, Barnhart, Johann Jacob, and Johannes, but cannot trace Georg Heinrich (b. 18 Sep 1834), Barbara Christine ( b. 26 Jul 1824), or Magdalena (b. 11 Apr 1837). Parents are in the 1850 Tazewell county census with "Andrew", who could be Georg Heinrich, but the 2 daughters are not to be found. Would like information on these 3.
