My Uncle Marshall Wolf made notes of his research, and I have a mimeographed copy. Philip Wolf was born in Germany, arrived in Philadelphia in 1760, married Elizabeth Files in 1765, and died near Monroe, North Caroline about 1817. Davis John Wolf, born 1771 Henry Wolf, born 1775, died 1858, married 1. Pamela Doster (1775-1844) 2. Nancy Winchester Jacob Wolf, born 3-12-1783, died 1853, married Rachel Orr (1790-1872) Tobias Wolf, born 1785 Peter Wolf, born 1787, married Rebecca Rape Elizabeth Wolf, born 1789, married John Penniger Conrad Wolf, born 1791, died 1845, married Kate Howard Mary Wolf, married Adam Fisher or Fischer The notes indicate that the information is from research of D. D. Wolf of Dallas, Texas, in the Charlotte NC Library, a D. A. R. application (approved) of Mrs. Bobbie Burns Tarver, Philip Wolf descendant, and will and land record of Philip Wolf. The children of Philip Wolf and Elizabeth Starnes were Catherine, married James Russell Polly, married unknown Rape, brother of Peter Wolf's wife John Jacob Joseph married Hannah Doster on December 8, 1825 Philip George Joseph and Hannah Wolf are my great, great grandparents. I have a printed sheet, source unknown, that shows John Wolf, son of Philip Wolf and Elizabeth Starnes, as moving to Texas or Arkansas. Is anyone else researching these people? Thanks. Sandra
