Dear list members, I am asking for your help. My computer was recently 'blasted' by a massive amount of spyware while I was visiting a web site that offered free genealogy graphics. Although I have been able to remove the spyware from my computer with the terrific help of some forums (it took almost 2 weeks!), I was not able to retrieve any of the email that simply vanished when the spyware hit. I had over 7,000 genealogy-related emails in my Outlook Express and it just disappeared. Thankfully, I had made a backup of my entire computer at the end of 2003 so I can restore those emails.......... But, I am asking any of you who have communicated with me in 2004 to please check your email/files and RE-SEND anything to me that you might still have in your computer. I know that a few things will be in the list archives where I can retreive them, but most emails were sent to me privately. Thank you very much!!
