They moved to Columbia Township 1811 or 1813. From there, my line goes through William WOLF (m. Sarah DANN), their son: Elias Dann WOLF (m. 1st-Sarah Johnson. 2nd-Hattie Johnson VANGILDER. Elias and Sarah's son, Sherman WOLF, married Hattie's daughter from her previous marriage: Emma Rosella VANGILDER. I've heard they were from Lauderdale county, MS but I do know they were in Scott county MS by the 1880 census. This area was previously East Hanover Twp, Lebaon Co, PA, and before that, was East Hanover, Dauphin Co, PA. There seem to be two separate lines in the Greenpoint ares who I have traced with certainty back as far as Amos WOLF b. 1819 and Jacob WOLF b. 1823. I am looking for any links to my maternal gg grandfather named ANDREW DAVIS WOLF b 8 Feb. 1806 in Tn. His parents are thought to be PHILIP and ELIZABETH BARNES WOLF. A.D. Wolf m. Lucinda. The couple had at least two children in Tn. named TOBIAS WASHINGTON and SARAH WOLF. The family had moved on to Johnson Co., Ar. by 1840 census. Twins were b that year named ELLEN CAROLINE and MARTHA J. WOLF. A.D. WOLF died sometime between July and Sept. of 1844. I can not locate his wife, Lucinda, after that time. My g grandmother Ellen Caroline Wolf stated on a pension request that she was in Tx. by age 4, tying to the time of her father's death, yet I can find no record of her or her siblings until the 1860's when I found the Wolfs had moved to Upshur Co., Tx.
