I found them in Lauderdale county Mississippi in the 1850 census. Wm S Wolf 28 farmer born SC there are "tic" marks in the columns for married "within the year" and in the "....cannot read or write" Sarah 39 born NC-(but I can't be positive) Daniel 25 shoemaker born MS there is a "tic" mark in the "...cannot read or write" although there is the possibility the "tic mark" belongs to Sarah above Also Daniel is listed as deaf John M 19 born MS Wm A Wolf 13 born MS attended school within the year Mary 9 born MS attended school within the year George W 6 months born MS another family in the same residence is George Hampon(?) age 24 farmer born MS Louisa age 2? (she's in her 20's but I can't be sure of the second number) born MS the last 6 people are on stamped page 392 and the others are the page before which doesn't have a stamped number. Whether or not they eventually turn out to be mine, I figure someone else might be interested. this George W Wolf is the one I'm interested in at the moment. I'm looking for a George W Wolf born March 27, 1850. I found someone's old post saying that mine was born in Chunkyville in Lauderdale county MS . and married in Lauderdale in 1870 to Martha Tillman (b. Aug 12, 1848). of course the poster's address is no longer valid and all I know is that my George W Wolf did marry Martha Tillman but when and where is not known. I don't pick up my George and Martha until 1880 in Scott county when their oldest child (my gr-grandfather) is 7. 1860 census Another G W Wolf: just using the ancestry.com index, I did not find this family in the 1860 Lauderdale county MS census but I did notice alot of Wolfs living with various other families. Unfortunately I was at the library and I found later that there is a permanent limit to the number of census records you can send over to yourself (did not find this out until I got home of course!) Whether any of these Wolfs were the same family I cannot say until I go look them up again. I did find another G W Wolf living with another family that was listed as 5 years old. As I know there are several people looking for different George W's and George Washingtom Wolf'Wolfe's perhaps these will help someone!

Any help much appreciated.
