Hello Everyone, I am new to this list and hope SKS can help me a bit. I live in Yorkshire so am not able to do much researching in South Wales, so hear goes let me tell you if my Welsh connections. My gggrandfather Andrew Pollard died in 1863 in Wainarlwydd near Swansea and I think that my gggrandmother married again to some one called William Lewis who also left her a widow. I beleive her to be living in 1881 at Gower Road,Lougher, her name being Sarah Lewis. Her eldest daughter was married to a Benjamin Howells she was also called Sarah, and they had the General Shop and Post Office at Gower Road. They had in 1881 three sons William P. aged 12 Arthur Lewis aged 10 Herbert E aged 3mths If anyone else is researching this family I would be glad to hear from them or anybody having the 1891 census with more info on it would be very helpful.
