Dear Tom, Yes, this certainly helps. In fact it brought a tear to my eye seeing my grandfather's name as it was recorded when he was an infant. I went to the cemetary, and his birth year was 1880 (December), so this would be correct, if that was recorded in 1881. His two older sisters were Mary and Martha as well. He had an older brother, so I don't know where he was, unless he had already come to the US. I was so thrilled to see a Devonald listed. Certainly your Devonalds have to be related!
