It was reported on July 1908, that William DEVONALD of 13, Gloucester Place had been killed, while trying to board a moving Mumbles Train, at Swansea Gaol. He had only recently started work at the Swansea Post Office as a trainee telegrapher, and 'had not yet received his uniform'.
