I had checked the death index from 1841 to 1845 and had not located him I was going again on Saturday morning to finish the job up to 1851. Thanks for all the other information too what a great idea indexing the obituaries in the local newspaper. Caroline Jocobs has a similar project going at the library in Merthyr Tydfil. The final thing is could you try and locate a funeral report to locate the place where William Raynor the elder was buried, please? The elder William Raynor is not buried in St Mary's although it is very close to where he lived..
