Hi to you all. Trying to find ways to crumble a 15 yr old brick wall. Would appreciate a look up for the following family group, or any member of it. The boy is whom I am interested in. I am hoping he turns out to be Thomas Morgan WILLIAMS who was born in Bristol in 1873 to Mary WILLIAMS, no father mentioned. In 1881 Census 9 Scyborfach St, Swansea Town. HAWKINS Samuel - h - mar - 28 - carpenter - b Gloucester HAWKINS Nanny - w - mar - 32 - b Newport Mon WILLIAMS Mary - mothinlaw - wid - 65 - b Perranarworthal, Cornwall WILLIAMS Thomas - vis - unm - 7 - scholar - b England. I am hoping Mary is Thomas's grandmother, our Thomas M lived in Bristol and worked at Temple Meads station, spoke with a Welsh accent, he was my husbands Grandfather. Family story is, he was taken in by somebody, but never officially adopted, legal adoption hadn't started this far back. Hi Pat I was looking at this area on 1901 census. The household in 1901 at 9 Ysguborfach Street was Emrys Bowen, 20 and wife Lillian age 28. I assume you still want a 1891 lookup at this address.
