Hi Merry Christmas to all Thanks to Sandi in the USA I have been able to find my family on the Glamorgan 1851 census. Would anybody out there be able to check the 1861 census for Gomerian Place? Looking for William Davies , tailor and family, wife Margaret, children Sarah, Caroline, Daniel In the 1851 census he was living next door to his mother Justina, however she died in 1853 leaving 11 children as orphans. So perhaps William took in the younger siblings? James John born 1851, Charlotte 1847, Edward 1845, Sarah 1841, George 1838 apprentice tailor to William. It may be that the family remained in two houses looked after by older sisters Mary Ann or Anne? Is Gomerian Place still in existence? Any help much appreciated.
