Hi Bernard I looked at 1891 Census today. Could not find Convent Terrace, Swansea, as it was not in the street index, but looked closely at Convent Street. They were quite small dwellings, with only 4 rooms occupied. No. 34 was David JONES, 48, General Labourer, wife Sarah 48, daughter Sarah A 16 and brother William 37, Haulier, Copper Works. All were born Swansea. RG12/4480 Enumeration District 23 on fiche 3 of the Piece. There was no TOY/TOI in Convent Street. In the Convent itself, in the 'marital state' column, for all the nuns there was an entry running up the page 'Members of the Community'. Sorry you have yet another setback in your quest. He was born on the 25 March 1887 at 34, Convent Terrace, Swansea. I'm hoping that they were still living there in 1891. Could SKS check this out for me. Many thanks. > > Regards, > > Bernard > Phoenix, AZ >
