Hello Alwyn, Hope things are going well. Alwyn, sorry to "butt in" on your reply but I could not help but notice you mentioned that you had a burial index for Llangyfelach. I was wondering if the index went to 1891, I have been looking for the burial "spot" of a Benjamin Howell for quite sometime now. He died on February 21, 1891, (pre-deceased by his wife Sarah, when I do not know, yet :-). If you can help Alwyn, great, if not thanks so much for your time. B Benjamin lived on Neath Road, Landore, would you have any idea of what burial yards are in the area. Take care and all the best Sue Martin Prince George, B.C. Hi List, can anyone help me please. My G.Gramps was William John DAVIES born in COCKETT, Swansea sometime around 1880ish. His mother died either in labour or shortly thereafter. His dad remarried. Around 1900s he married Annie BOSTON-DOWNES, she was the illigitimate daughter of wealthy fish merchants in Boston on Tweed or Berwick on Tweed. Anyway they lived at 75 Culfor Road, Loughor, all my life. G Gramps is burried somewhere in Swansea. I think they lived in Llanelli too. Some kind lister did send me a census report with William on it but unfortunately I inadvertantly erased it. Can anyone help me fill in some blanks. Oh they had kids too Elizabeth and Euphemia Jean. Thanks in advance Dianne in Canada. diehard1967@home.com
Rootsweb had some problems today and I have been informed that it was off line for 12 hours and lost all the email posted in that time period. So, if you posted to the list and you didn't see your message, it is probably lost and needs to be reposted. Gee, and I thought everyone was resting/traveling on a usually busy Sunday. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA, listowner http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

Hi List, I'm researching the COLE and WELLESBY families of Swansea. Alfred Arthur COLE was born in Swansea in 1823 to parents Thomas COLE and Harriett WELLESBY. Would love to hear from anybody researching these families. Alfred Arthur COLE emigrated to Australia sometime before 1854, where he married Selina BRACHER. Thanks, Vicki Melbourne, Australia
