Yesterday I was looking at a microfilm of Bishops' transcripts, at the local Family History Ctr. The records pertain to the Parish of Llys-y-fran, and on occasion visiting curates officiated at weddings or burials. The one I am interested in is: Burial No.15; Evan Badham of Llys-y-fran Village, Nov 26th 1819, Age 91 Person officiating at ceremony: Ste. Evans- Curate of Langolman Can anyone tell me what Ste. stands for?
