Most of my data I obtained when I visited Haverfordwest some years ago. Checking my old notebook, I found alittle more info.Mary Watkins was baptised 17th November 1749. Her parents were named as Henry Watkins and his wife Abbra. She married Richard Merchant 29th October 1749. I suspect that Henry W who died in 1782 is her father. I also noted a marriage 31st march 1744 between Richard Merchant and anne Child(widow) at Stackpole Elidir , which is also known as Cheriton. As you say St Petrox is quite close to Manorbier, indeed all of the places in your first Email are covered by an area 25 Kilometres square. I also have a marriage on 21st May 1769 at Steynton, Between a George Merchant and Sarah Patrick. I cant connect either of these "strays" to my tribe- yet! Regards William
