    2. Hi Nick The 1861 Census for England and Wales is far from complete. From what I understand the enumerators' books were first stored in the attic of the House of Commons whre they suffered damage and some parts destroyed. I, too, have looked for the parish of Yerbeston and checked with the Pembrokeshire Record Office. They do not have it listed as having it the actual film of it so it is not that the CD makers have forgotten to include it, it just does not exist anywhere. This is true of Prospect Place, Pembroke Dock which is listed at the start of the district but does not appear. I was told by Nicki Bosworth, one of the archivists at the record office that the numbers of persons listed in each district do not always tally with the total figures given at the beginning of each district. This is an indication that some part of that district has been permanently lost. For anyone looking for Lawrenny on this census it is not listed in the index but can be found on 4152 Folio 90 onwards. Bye for now Joy
