Hello all. I was given some marvellous help with my enquiries a couple of weeks ago, by Gerry and Bette. It gave me lots to work with. Which I have done and are still doing. George Gowland Golding married Mary Hine in 1846 in Monmouth. I shall try to type the Parish name -I find the writing hard to read-Llantillir Porthirly. His father was William, an Artist. I think that Gerry was right when he thought that William/Ralph were one and the same. What I need to trace is any children of George and Mary. After the wedding information of 1846, I can find nothing of them until Mary's death in Somerset in 1879 There is a big void that could be helped by the 1851, 1861 census. Any directions that can be suggested for me to approach next, please? Thanks again, Madeleine.
