I've just completed the process of checking each link in the Genuki place name databases for each of my counties. Not as bad as it sounds with broadband. You may be interested in seeing how many separate places are included for each county, there are lots of alternative spellings in there but gives an idea of relative size. You did good ! Some more advice on using the links on each parish page. Use the streetmap links for preference, the default first view has more detail on. If the named place isn't shown as such on there, look at the old-maps page, should be named there. Don't forget the enlarged view option on old-maps, most of these 'controls' are hidden below the horizon on my screen. If you use the multimap links, to get more detail click on the 25,000 option, the 50,000 isn't very useful. Also don't forget the bigger map option button on top right.
