Hi all, I have two queries, the second will follow in a second mail.... We have finally broken down a massive brick wall and discovered the family of my great grandparents in the Llangwm/Hook area near Haverfordwest. They had moved to Mid Glamorgan and have been difficult to trace, but now I have, I wonder if anyone else is interested in the same family? Martha JENKINS b.14 May 1852 at Hook, Llangwm, daughter of John JENKINS and Elizabeth EVANS. John was born in Burton 1821 (son of Ann), and Elizabeth in Lambston (probably bapt 12 Jan 1823, the daughter of William and Elizabeth JENKINS. 1861 and 1871, John and Elizabeth living at Hook Road, Llangwm - John was a collier. Martha's husband William THOMAS was born Llangwm Nov 1849, son of John THOMAS (1820 Llangwm) and Frances (1805 Llangwm) in 1861 living at Hook Road Llangwm. Hello Yvonne You don't mention the 1851 census. John and Elizabeth were living in Llangwm, but the index does not indicate any possible children. John and Frances were living in Llangwm with 16month old William (and no other child). Frances's birth parish is shown as Llawhaden and John's as Burton[?]. Gerry Lewis
