Hello everyone. I am not getting very far with my Golding search at all. A William Golding has a painting hanging in Tenby Museum. It is dated 1799. In 1777 a Ralph Golding , also a painter was born. I think that they were one and the same person.Maybe Ralph signed his pictures 'William'. A William Golding Married Jane - something or the other- in 1815. Later there were boys born who were given the middle name of 'Gowland'. Could William's wife been a 'Gowland' before marriage. Any thing on Goldings in Haverfordwest; Abegavenny, and Monmouthshire in general would be of great interest to me. Thanks a lot. Madeleine
