I am looking for any descendants of ROBERT HOOPER.I have Hooper married with my Jordan(Jordain) family of Brixham-and they went to join the fishing industry in Hull believe also some went to Ramsgate area. Robert was born/baptised in Brixham,Devon-and later lived in Hull where he married and his children were born.He lived in the same street-a matter of 8 houses from Samuel and Agnes Jordain(nee Hooper)1881 census. In 1901 census:- Robert Hooper born Brixham living at Hakin-a fisherman-aged 52 years. Christiana Hooper born Hull living at Hakin aged 48 years. Harriet Hooper-born Hull aged 19 living at Hakin-no trade etc-possible she was married at Haverford West in 1903(FreeBMD) Charlie Hooper-born Hull aged 14 living at Hakin-Fish Packer. Of the other children born in Hull-possible that Mary E married or is working away. Florence-I have a Florence married at Pembroke in 1892(FreeBMD).Thomas Edward-possible he married in Epsom in 1894 (FreeBMD)-not showing on 1901 census.Christiana-she MAY have married in Totnes,Devon in 1898(FreeBMD).Robert- would be 16 in 1901-was he at sea?not showing on 1901.TIA Jean
