    1. [WLS-PEMBROKESHIRE] CHARLES FAMILY; 1871 CENSUS

    3. Hello Listers, I'm new to this list & hope someone can help me. Someone recently found my Charles family in the 1881 Census, all but my great-grandfather, George CHARLES. His wife Anne (THOMAS) CHARLES, a widow, & children Clara, George (my grandfather), & William, along with a lodger were found in St Marys Pembroke Wales on Market St. Is it possible for SKS to look for them in the 1871 Census? I'm trying to find out when George died. And is there anyone else researching this line? I think grandfather came to the US late 1800's or early 1900's. He ended up in Bronx NY & worked as a Brass Moulder. Any ideas on what that is exactly? The family was separated during the Depression & I know so little about them. I did meet a 2nd cousin from Canada briefly in the 1940's (perhaps during the war?) whose name was William CHARLES. He was in the RCAF. It would be wonderful to find some cousins. I thank you for any help available! Edwina Charles in Calif
