I am look for information on the Hitchins (or Hitchings) Family of Pembrokshire, Wales. I believe the name may have originally been Hitchings, but most of the information that I can find in United States records have Hitchins. The information that I have is: Owen E. Hitchins was born on May 25, 1831 in Bristol Channel, Pembrokshire, Wales; he married Elizabeth Jeffries, also of Wales; he and his wife immigrated to the United States on July 4, 1852. Adam E. Hitchins was born on September 20, 1833, in Pembrokshire, Wales; and he immigrated to the United States in 1854. I believe that they had a brother Roger Hitchins born on March 1, 1827; and a brother John Hitchins born in 1838. I am also searching for information on a James Hitchins born on March 20, 1846, and who died on December 23, 1899 in the State of Maryland, U.S.A. I am not sure if James is related to Adam and Owen, though I have been told by some of my relatives that he was, and others that he was not.
