Hi Listers this is my first time on this list. I am researching my uncle, Thomas BLACKLER. He was born 2nd June 1897, his parents were Richard and Susan Blackler of Liverpool. Seems Thomas moved to MILFORD HAVEN. I have a letter dated 1942 from this area. In 1948 he was back in Liverpool where he died 1st March 1948. I was told Thomas was a fisherman, and that he also had a common-law wife. I am trying to trace any possible family of this couple, or any information at all, where he lived, which ships he was on etc., Does anyone have any information on how I can proceed with this research.
