Dear Heulwen, I don't have census records, but looked in the pre-1813 marriages for Clydey back to about 1750's and did not find the Elias name. However, on June 12, 1783 an Evan ELIPHAS of Llanfyrnach married Rachel David at Clydey......a surname I've never encountered previously. I also noted that a David Elias of "Llandygwy" married Hanna Howel at Clydau on 9th. July, 1818. If you don't have any luck in Clydey, you could try Llandygwydd, Cardiganshire. Bettye Kirkwood, Australia. ----- Original Message ----- From: "HJ" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 19, 2004 2:45 AM Subject: [Dyfed] 1841 & 1851 Census Clydau, Pembs. > Does anyone please have access to these Census? > I'm looking for - 1841 1851 > Joshua ELIAS abt.33 43 > Anna poss. dead, new wife Sarah > William 6 16 > John D. 2or7 12/17 > Mary 1 11 > Timothy 10 > Hannah 6 > Elizabeth 5 > Ann 1 > > Many thanks > Heulwen > > > ==== DYFED Mailing List ==== > Genuki Wales http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/ >
