I have MORGAN ancestors in Mathry certainly back before 1750, but they had cousins in Bristol. I don't know where their common forebears came from. My first cousin (five times removed) George LLOYD of Penfeidr, Newport, married Martha, daughter of James MORGAN(S) of Ambleston in 1800. - This family might relate to Marlena's G Grandmother Sophia. There are several MORGAN wills and admons for Pembrokeshire pre-1800. There are also MORGAN references in Historic Houses of Pembrokeshire by Francis Jones. You ask about early census entries for MORGAN(S) - there are no census records surviving from before 1841. As to BTs, you might do better to look at the Dyfed FHS fiches of pre-1813 marriages to see where MORGANs crop up. Regards Bill G-J
