Dear Listers, 30th July is the 138th anniversary of the opening of the Pembroke & Tenby Railway between those two places. The opening was started from Tenby with 13 trains laid on to convey locals (at no cost on the day) to Pembroke and back. The celebrations started with an 'Opening Breakfast' and several local dignitaries as well as the Chairman of the Great Western Railway attended.
