Listers: I am new to this list and am researching the Rees family of St Dogmaels and any connections. My 2nd gr. grandfather was Daniel Rees b.Apr. 27, 1827 d. July 9, 1861. He emigrated to the USA settling in Freedom, NY. There he married Hannah Williams, b. Apr. 26, 1829 at Llignant Farm, PEM d. Oct. 12, 1910. His parents appear to be William b.1782 d. 1862 and Martha. Siblings were: David b. Nov. 24, 1813 Mary b. Nov. 18, 1816 John b. Oct 4, 1819 Margaret b. June 11, 1824 Benjamin b. July 16, 1829 Richard b. Apr. 3, 1832 Eleanor b. Aug.28, 1836 I know they had lived at Granant Farms for several hundred years prior to the early 1900's and had attended and served the Blean(y)waun Chapel. This learned from a newspaper clipping of the death of Benjamin. Any help would be appreciated. Jan Ontario, Canada
