Dear Megan, Joy, Sandra and others, Was doing some sorting tonight and came across the will abstract for William Parcell of Carew who died in 1780. He was a Maltster. Hannah Palmer, wife of Allen Palmer, is mentioned as his granddaughter.....and from the Dyfed FH Journal Vol.2 article it seems she was Hannah Davies prior to marriage, and as William Parcell's mentions Elizabeth who was married to Robert Davies, St. Mary's Pembroke, that looks like the connection, although Elizabeth is not stipulated specifically as William Parcell's daughter. The article says Allen Palmer and his wife remained childless...whereas the will abstract mentions the children of Hannah Palmer...but no names given. Sanda has already told us that Allen Palmer died and Hannah (her ancestress) remarried in 1806 at Carew to Allen Hier. Perhaps she knows if there were Palmer children. As so many are interested in this Palmer family....here are the people mentioned in William Parcell's will...who would possibly be Hannah Palmer's aunts and other relatives. Arabella Marks wife of Benjamin Marks, Kidwelly, Carms. Mary Rowe wife of Richard Rowe, Llanfihangel Pembs. Susannah Harts....who was named as daughter and executrix. William Parcell also named his son Titus, and his grandson William, also David Parcell and his two children Margaret and Susannah, but he did not stipulate the relationship.
