I thought I'd try to find some information about a Welsh line of mine that I have never researched, but I don't recognize the place and so don't know what list it would be on. I probably copied them wrong years ago. Does anyone recognize these places or have any idea where they might have been had I spelled them correctly? Thank you, Lea
Hi Lea It's Llangiwg parish in Glamorgan, spelled in English, Llanguick(e). See this Genuki page for more details of the parish http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/GLA/Llangiwg/ Gallynag would be the farm name etc, and is possibly Gellyneg, not that I know it particularly. I have some Llangiwg material if you want to try me with a lookup.
