Dear Sandra, I did not realise that transcribers from wills to abstracts were sometimes creative and added information not shown on the actual will...something of which to be wary. The Journal article states "The third son Allen inherited the family farming business and the lease of Llandigwynnet, but he and his wife, Hannah Davies of Dairy Hayes, Carew, remained childless." When I look at the time frames, this seems to be a later Allen Palmer. Apologies! I can't find a record of their marriage. Elizabeth "Parcel" appears to have married Robert Davies at Carew in 1748 and the records also show that Hannah Parcell in 1767 married Allen Palmer at Carew whilst Susannah Parcell also married William Harts at Carew in 1767....so it does seem quite possible that the "granddaughter" as shown on the abstract may be wrong. Sanda, you seem to have the family well in hand....Hannah certainly has led you down some intriguing paths. Regards.
