Good Morning, I wonder if someone is familiar with the Baptist Church members who found the First Primitive Church in America. There were 16 founding members who left from the Pembrokeshire and Caermarthen area in 1701. The first American Baptist Church was the Pencader Hundred in New Castle County, Delaware. I am trying to identify a later member of the St. David's Church of Radnor, Chester County, Pennsylvania, a church that was former by the members of The First Baptist church in New Castle. His name was Owen Roblin and he was lived in Tredyffrin (Valleytown). His name is found in a book about St. David's Church. Unfortunately it does not include the church records. Owen Roblin owned property in 1722 in PA. So he must have come between 1701 and 1722. I am hoping that if the original members of the First Baptist Church were all members of the same church in Pembrokeshire that Owen Roblin might also be found in those church records before he left for America. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Regards, Linda Herman Maryland
