My father has just informed me (after months of interegation where he claimed to know nothing!) that one of my CORNOCK ancestors was imprisoned for his religious beliefs - he thinks late 1700's early 1800's I have a William born 1803 his father was David/Dafydd who lived between Scelddau and Lettertstone (I have not traced family futher back than there yet!) Can some wise kind soul advise me WHERE I might find out whether this info is correct or just "family gossip"! - and where I can now lock my father as he seems to be remembering things (he's 70) regards Melanie

Gareth kindly sent me a piece re my Quaker (late 1600's early 1700) so I am copying separately for your general interest. I'm sure he won't mind. Haverfordwest and Carmarthen gaols are mentioned, so the Records Offices may be of help.
