Hello Gerry As your Mary Ann Johns gave both Crundale and Haverfordwest as birthplace then as Crundale is just north of Haverfordwest (parish of Rudbaxton) I thought I'd have a look to see if she was there in 1861. This is what I found - I think it fits don't you? Folio 78 schedule 24 Cold house Martha John Hd M 52 Camrose Alice John dau 10 scholar Rudbaxton Samuel " son 8 " " Mary Ann " dau 3 " Note : there are John families in the next two houses too- although with such a surname there is no reason to assume they are related - but you could keep it in mind. My only concern is that you thought Mary's mother's name was Ann - what was the source of that information? If you are sure this is the correct family - then in 1851 they are in Camrose.
