Hi Bettye One thing which might be a little confusing is that there were 2 couples named Allen and Hannah Palmer. The first was Allen Palmer of Llandigwynnet, Carew (1727-1779). He was the son of Francis Palmer of Llandigwynnet, by his wife Mary Allen. He married Hannah Parcell, who I have listed as daughter of William Parcell of Coachland, Carew (though I would be quite happy to be corrected). They were the parents of a number of children. There eldest son, George Palmer succeeded to Llandigwynnet. By his first wife Charlotte Hooks, George had an only daughter Elizabeth. By his second wife Elizabeth Llewhellin, daughter of William Llewhellin of Carew Newton he had a further 11 children who amongst them leave many descendants. The eldest son was the second Allen Palmer of Llandigwynnet (1798-1855). Wife of the younger Allen Palmer was Hannah Davies (1817-1901), daughter of George Davies of Hays, Carew by his wife Mary Voyle. I have more on the Palmers of Carew, from the late Peter Dawkins Palmour, if anyone would like further info.
