I have already E-mailed Joan Sims re. James Phillips & Elizabeth (Lewis),I see that Bettye Kirkwood has suggested a James Phillips, Blacksmith married to a Bristol woman. My grandfather was James Phillips, and indeed he was married to Elizabeth (Lewis), a few years ago I went down the wrong road and assumed that the one mentioned by B.K. was my grandfather, however the two James Phillips's were both living in Pembroke Dock at the same time. My James Phillips was from Castlemartin and was married to Elizabeth Lewis, whose family came from Steynton, the James Phillips married to the Bristol woman came from Rosemarket.
