Hi, would SKS be able to do a lookup in the 1841 census please. I'm looking for William Gould ( Aged 63 ) who was married to Elizabeth ( same age ). I don't believe William was born in the area. Many thanks. Regards Jon Gould
Hello Jon This looks like them:- 1841 Reg dist Milford enum dist 7 parish of Hubberston. Folio 19a page 7 Hakin William Gould 63 Block M N Elizabeth Gould 63 N Elizabeth Gould 9 Y Mirab Hancock 20 F.S. Y Note: There are other Goulds living in Hubberston with occupation Blockmaker -- so William shown as Block M - I would say was a Master Blockmaker (according to the rules for filling in occupation in 1841) Are these other Goulds part of your family - do you want those entries as well?
